He truly was one of the best in the business. Our athletic department takes heat at times but he was a true standout and a fixture at athletic events. I hope he continues to attend games as a fan.

He just announced his retirement.
Wow so he got a couple years of retirement only? Does anyone that know more about the situation did he retire because of his health and it just caught up to him?
He sadly lost his battle with cancer.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Sunday, 9/13 at 3:00 p.m. in the Salons located on the third floor at Halton Arena on the campus of UNC Charlotte. Parking is available in the Central Deck.
