Blasphemy!
You are obviously a better man than me. A few yrs ago I was in Atlanta for a meeting and tried to leave to get home in time for the 1st round of the NCAA on a Thurs.I got delayed and had to stop in Anderson, SC at Hooters to catch our game. I was watching with a bunch of Clemson fans and it almost got ugly. They really liked my comments about the ACC is bascially UNC-Ch and Duke with the MAC fighting for third place in most yrs.
Not only that, they claimed to be a football school and got quite offended when I said I didnât know football schools lose to Furman and NC St.
It wouldnât have been a fair fight though, there were 3 of them and I was planning on fighting dirty.
Metro aint skeered of no Clempson punks!
:shades:
I hate Cheesecake, but their salads are money with some seared tuna.
With as many different cheesecakes as they have Iâm sure they could have accomodated the seared tuna into it

Hey that sounds like my story, what HS did you go to Down? I left in 1999.

Not really, although I lived in one for 16 years and the other for 8 years and in both locations while being of college age and working age. IMO Charlotte just feels more alive, however a lot of times its who you know not where you are and save for one Iâve met my best friends in charlotte, and one evil woman.
However on the original subject of this thread most of the loudmouth fans are most likely not even alumni, true alumni, especially of the chapel hill and Duke variety seem to think charlotte is a âniceâ team and thats about the best youâll get out of them, most of the rest is usually backhanded and/or snotty comments.

Good ol Millbrook, ahh glad I erased those memories. Just to split on another subject for moment, does anyone really think HS was the glory days? For me college v. high school was like the patriots v. north meck.

I went to Leesville, you guys used to kick our butts in Football. I agree HS sucked compared to college, but like you mentioned, Raleigh is not a âyoungâ city, and most of it is rich people in RTP that are already established with kids.
How could Raleigh suck?
I thought w/ all the girls of State, Carolina, Duke, & 3 womenâs colleges that Raleigh would be the sh1t.

Not when your under 18, but agreed the scenery in those areas is nice.

I live in Asheville- Kicks Raleigh and Charlotteâs ass.
But the 2 hr ride to Ninerâs game does suck on occassion, not so bad with company.
grew up in HP,
school and lived in CLT for 7 years,
currently in RDU for 4-5 years.
Raleigh is without a doubt the biggest small city in the state (with all its benefits and drawbacks of being such).
I thought this was going to be a story about Ian Andersen since he frequents the Cheesecake Factory.
That, my friend, is stalker material!
or White Castle
Or Sonic (which we do not have in WI).
