So is Lutz definitely back now?

Or is there anywhere else that Lutz can “Calipari” himself out to?

UWM will be open. Of course they probably want someone who can get them past the first round.

Unless Pearl says no then I think Lutz is definently back. I think success in the NCAA’s definently played into this.

He’s back, which means juco recruiting is back. Whoooopeee!

Pearl is the hot name right now b/c of their sweet 16 run. That’s usually the way it goes. That’s how they got Buzz 4 years ago, he was the hot name after Tulsa’s good season.

I guess he’ll be back…UVA, little help here??

UVA seems convinced it can get Barnes or Tubby Smith to come there. I am not sold on it. That is a good coaching job. However, I haven’t seen Lutz’s name mentioned at all as a strong possibility. Success in the NCAA’s is a lot more important then people think when you are trying to move up to that kind of job. UVA though largely football, has a very vocal alumni and fan base. Should Lutz end up there he could expect to have a very critical fan base that might not tolerate just making the NCAA’s after a while.

They don't want anything to do with Lutz.

Sounds like what’s happening on this forum…

Too bad, looks like we’re stuck with Lutz and he doesn’t want to be here anymore than we want to be in the A-10.

Good times ahead for this program.

True, but this is a fan base that will speak out and furthermore they have a higher contribution of alumni there then Charlotte does. That speaks a lot more then a message board.

Does this mean that Martin Iti leaves? I was hoping we could get a coach that would develop his potential, not just turn him into another transfer.

I think coach keeps looking and in the mean time recruiting goes to Hell and everything along with it unless he makes a clear, definitive statement of commitment to this program. I feel sick… :pout:

I think our 5th assistant, Courtney Rosengreen, probably has plenty lined up for him this summer like continuing to work on his perimeter game.
