CONCACAF gonna CONCACAF. There was very little chance they were going to disappoint that massively pro Mexican crowd. We would have had to stuff them in a locker. No close game was going our way.

TBH, with this USMNT lineup, I wasn’t expecting to even get as far as we did. Never thought they’d beat Mexico. Oh well, on to the WC. Let’s hope our prima donnas are up to the task.

I hadn’t seen this before. This sucks if true. We need to be able to field the best team possible. We don’t need these kinds of restrictions.
That ended up being a drubbing in NJ.
Match over at halftime. Cole Palmer with a brace and an assist. Total domination.

That’s some serious prize money at the top. I’m not sure how much of that the players get, or if it goes to the club and it might end up allowing Chelsea to sign another star player.
Didn’t see it but have heard that PSG was all kinds of butthurt about getting shelled like that.
Yep, PSG were heavy favorites to win. The final score wasn’t the surprise - just most expected a reverse of winner/loser.
Yep, the Saudis had to put up some serious coin to entice clubs to participate. Funny thing is that Real Madrid asked La Liga to delay it’s upcoming opening League match to give the team time to recover from the CWC. La Liga said no, you took the money, now deal with it. As far as PSG losing, that’s always a good thing, imo. I can’t stand any state supported team.
There goes the neighborhood.
