Sort of OT: Player at Central Cabarrus

I was looking at the box scores from last night’s high school games on the Observer website, and Central Cabarrus has a player with the last name NIPARAVICIUS. Does anyone know if he’s indeed related to Matas?

I know that Lutz’ older daughter goes to the same school… we may have several connections there.

Not sure about him being Matas’ brother, but I’m pretty sure he isn’t. But I did see where he is a Div 1 prospect. He’s considered one of the better players in the Metrolina area. 6’4" SG.
