I have confirmed through a solid source that it will be Stonecoldken Stadium. Vendors will be strippers and green pom poms will be handed out at the gates.

Levine Field…? ::slight_smile:

All right, I can’t watch this any longer… I have stepped forward and tomorrow the Field will hold my family name… Black Field

Belk Field at Lowes Stadium.

Can we assume this means we’ve received a $5 million dollar gift? The orignal plan the U put forward was that the stadium name was $10 million, with the football center and field names being worth $5 Million each.

I hope the gift also included lights or a marching band.
Levine Field…? ::)
Their history has only been academic donations to my knowledge.

I imagine it will be a Harris or a Belk. My money is on a Harris.

This.

According to the CBJ article with Judy, the Stadium naming rights are going for $5 mill, the Field $2.5 mill, and the Fieldhouse $2.5 mill.

I would think Harris, Belk or Halton if we are assuming it’s someone who’s been affiliated with Charlotte for a while. If it’s a newer association then it could be anyone, personal or corporate. Either way I’m excited!

I vaguely remember the CBJ article you’re mentioning. If this is the case then we’re conducting a 50% sale, because the original prices are as I listed above. I think $2.5 million orignally was the price for the concourse names. Oh well, I thought $10M was a bit too much for the stadium name of an FCS stadium anyway.

Remember, this is naming of the FIELD only. Stadium and football center namings come later.

I’d be happy with any of these, but it would be kind of a good sign if it were someone who has never had an association with the school before…we need to grow the donor base and this was one of the main reasons for starting football…
