Why do people always seem to think this? The Tar Heels have players transfer out all the time. Not as much as us granted, but still a lot. I’m sure someone can come up with specific names, but it seems like every other year they have a fairly significant player transfer out. I believe Alex Stephenson of USC was the most recent before this. Brian Morison and Adam Boone also come to mind, but I know there are a couple others.
I normally would say this doesn’t hurt them, but I believe Deon Thompson graduates and Ed Davis is going pro, so this kills their post play.

It’s a red letter day in history. The Tarholes have transfers this year and we have none. :))
So Bowden has been taken back into the Niner fold?
Look how many bigs we had on the 00-01 roster. What happened?
Cam 6’8"
Rodney 6’8"
Tory 6’8"
Matas 6’8"
Malik 6’10"
Jermaine Williams 6’10"
Kenkay 6’9"
Butter 6’8"
2 studs, 1 really good big man, 3 role players, and 2 duds. Three of those never finished their careers here. Butter opted out, and then came back. No player on that list was a 4-year player here except for him. That’s not a terrible thing when you have the likes of Rodney, Cam, and KenKay on there, but the fact that none of the younger bigs (Rodney entered the draft) on that list really panned out is one reason we weren’t very good in 02-03.
They never mentioned in offseason talks they were leaving. There dad called after their exam.
Man up, tell the coach yourself, you damn pu55ies!
Williams had met with the brothers during mid-April to discuss their off-season development plans, and the twins apparently gave no indication that they planned to return home to Huntington Beach, Calif., after exams and not return. Williams learned the news via a phone call from the Wears’ father on Wednesday night.
I write U for you, r for are, some 1 for someone, 2 for to, etc. on FB.
Bet Roy kicks Daddy Wear out of the Dean Dome for sure!
I understand only fans wearing tarhole attire will be allowed to enter the dean dome next year. Roy’s rule.

Yeah, didn’t mean they were all studs. Just strange to size that much size, 8 guys 6’8" or taller, on the roster. This year we only had 3 guys 6’8" or taller.

Since Ace mispells everything, I can only assume that he meant for his screen name to be “Ass”.
