GO NINERS! BEAT THE GOONS!
Quote by Chaney: “And (North) Carolina still owes us one. After we went down there and defeated them (in 1988), they never did come back with another game with us. Never did.”
Go figure…
Really nice article by Scott and the Observer. Good reading. Interesting and informative.
I really hope we play as aggressive on defense tonight as we did in the second half against Dayton. Mardy Collins scares me… he had 25 points, 12 assists, and 5 steals last week against Maryland.
Finally something from the Temple website…
OwlSports.com: MEN’S BASKETBALL TAKES ON CHARLOTTE IN KEY A-10 GAME
Over40, while the Big O piece was informative, it did omit this:
The game also serves as a homecoming for Charlotte native Antywane Robinson. A leading candidate for A-10 Most Improved Player honors, the senior forward ranks second on the team in scoring (12.5 ppg.) while leading the squad in three-pointers made (46), three-point percentage (.374) and blocked shots (14).
anyone know the spread on this game? I safer bet would probably be an over/under on Withers rebounds.

If its Over, I think we win. If its Under, I think we lose.

Agreed, we need points… must push the action.

College has been good for gamer.
I must admit I’m a little surprised to see gamer make an appearance on this board after “his” tarholes got their butts kicked last night.
I found a link that lets you listen in on the game, for those of us that live out of Charlotte. It is on this list of radio stations.
They don’t play NINER games though. Only on Yahoo. I’ve tried it. They play reruns of some other sports show.
