Thank you for that one S. Quality. First thing that’s made me laugh today. I thought only Yankees said that though? Aren’t you a good ole boy?

I think that is what I’m disappointed about the most(lack of effort). We were down 14 and we were going to lose. When they had 3 uncontested dunks in a row with about 3 minutes left, I felt sick. They gave up so I gave up on them and turned the channel. I want us to win obviously but we aren’t always going to win. I can handle that. I want our team to fight to the end and they didn’t. If this starts to happen alot, I won’t be a part of it.

I’ve just always loved that line.
I just hope that we were just conserving our energy for marquette. If we come out flat and play like we did in the second half against cincy then I will be pissed at this team. The lacking seems to be in the fundamentals. I think we are in a really good position at 12-3 to finish with over twenty wins and once again will be given a crack at the tournament. However, the fundamentals are killing us. Curt is slower and less motivated it seems this year, I think the added weight may have slowed him too much. Plavich, Basden, Mitchell and Nance are all filling their roles nicely. EJ is a little erratic but overall a much better option than butter johnson ever was. The real problem is our inside game. Where are the offensive rebounds, where are the defensive box outs? Iti’s fundamentals are so terrible I don’t know if he will ever be useful, and curt playing at half-mast the only enthusiam we have is when nance gets in the game. The number one team fundmental that pisses me off is lazy passes.

I hope they prove me wrong in Feb.
Our second half was bad, especially the first 5 minutes. But did you see our first half zone ?, I don’t think we ever played the zone so well than that half in our history. But it didn’t work in the 2nd half.
