Before the coaching change, I heard we were high on his list and could get him if we made him a high priority. We’ll have to see who Major and staff decide to target.

The Scout account I was using has expired but there is an article on him from the Carolina Challenge. Not sure what all it talks about though.

I’d sure hope we’d be high on his list if the only other schools that have offered are UNC Asheville, Western Carolina, and Gardner Webb. I’m not too impressed by what I see, but we’ve gotten some good under rated recruits before.

Wake was recruiting him too. Apparently was one of the more impressive players at a recent tournament that had a lot of big name recruits there.

That tournament was the Carolina Challenge. Dave Telep said he was playing really well offensively.

Damn, so FSU gets Whisnant and Ian Miller right out of our backyard.

Coach Major, these are the guys we need to be getting in the future. I would have absolutely loved to see Ian Miller in Niner green.

I think Major recognizes the importance of recruiting in our area. Look at the 3 recruits we’ve heard of so far, all from NC High Schools.

It really hurts to lose guys like Whisnant, Mabry, Akeem Richmond, and Ian Miller right out from under our noses

i dont care where the players come from as long as they can play.

FSU commit that is now a 4star, #105 overall in the class per Rivals.

Had he signed with us, he would have fallen to 2 stars.
