Thanks for the joy you all have provided us, the fans. Best of luck in the days ahead, you will always be a part of [SIZE=4]NINER NATION[/SIZE].

I love all of these guys.

Eddie has turned into a player I never dreamed he would be. He has added offense to his skills and very well may lead this team to a memorable tournament run. I am amazed at the mark he leaves on every game.

Plavich came in with a bang has he lit up Syracuse in one of the biggest wins in school history. Despite the divisions on the board about him with “Plav-haters” and “Plav-lovers”, he will not be forgotten. Like Eddie, he gives each game his very best and I would bet quite a team leader behind the scenes.

Sager has to be commended for his dedication. Many in his position might have transferred again. I recall a game my freshmen year when he went in and just lit up Temple for 21 points. I wonder how he would have progressed had he not gotten mono that year and then the following year Plavich came in. Best luck to Sager!

He may be doing some "lighting it up" today too.

Of course, since that game was against Temple, he’s lucky he did not wind up with a broken arm.

This will go down as one of the best senior days in Niner History. We may end up with better players consistantly down the road or whatever, but these three guys have seen and been through more than almost any other niner in recent history.

I plan to get there early to hopefully thank them in person.

Winning teams, Conf championships, NCAA tournaments…those three got to experience what college basketball is all about.

And hopefully the best for this season is yet to come. I think a perfect way to send these three off is for them to experience a DEEP run in the NCAA Tourney. The talent is certainly there to do it.

Gonna miss these guys and gonna miss Halton until next season. :frowning:
