Buss confirmed that the teen choked himself by using a strap anchored on a piece of exercise equipment. He said the strap was part of the exercise apparatus.
What are kids getting into these days? I dont get it, what is the appeal of choking yourself? I would get it if it was some kind of S&M type thing, but it appears to be like a ‘normal’ game 16 year old’s are playing. Is this some kind of release of stress or something?

Thanks armour. So you can get high off getting choked? I never figured that.
I never did anything like that, but I remember people talking about doing it. One person would put the other in a choke hold until they passed out, but as soon as they went limp and blacked out the holder would let them go so they wouldn’t seriously hurt themselves (still dangerous and very stupid IMO). I’d never heard of anyone doing it to themselves before.
I heard a sexual version when I was a kid on a news show. Some guy said he didn’t kill the girl he had sex with, but she wanted to be choked to enhance the sex, & she accidently died.

Never heard of this “game.” I have heard of self induced passing out, though, which leads to… feeling kinda weird I guess. But never anything with choking or it being game.
And yes, AMERICA, I agree with you: People choking themselves is WAY better than them smoking marijuana.
