How many years have the Niners been “getting a better draft pick,” I have to admit I have been rooting for the Niners this year (possibly cause I hate the Rams and Seahawks in that division) but seriously how many years have you guys been consistently getting top 10 picks, it gets ridiculous after a while. I guess I’m sick of hearing the excuse “at least we get a better pick” from the Niner fans, It’s about like Detroit it gets to a point where you have to start doing something with those picks.
Of course, 1st round is overrated (I mean Frank Gore was a 3rd rounder (my favorite Niner on team besides Larry Allen).) I think of the Jimmy Johnson philosophy with draft picks, if your not that good and rebuilding move your big name player/players and get as many draft picks as possible.

Comparing us to the Lions? Which NFL are you watching haha. The Lions havn’t seen the post season since 2000 and have been one of the worst franchises in NFL history. Might I add that they havn’t won in the playoffs since 1991 when they beat the Cowboys :biggrin:.

Detroit was 0-16 and they are still not as bad of a team as the Cowboys, and that’s a fact. Jerry Jones is devoid of logic. Bill Parcells needs to slap the balls off both him and Al Davis.
