You know it is hilarious to hear ECU fans talk about class.
Unfortunately I did not get to watch the game but I did listen to it on the radio and from the way it sounds we beat ourselves and ECU got lucky. Niner fans am I correct in saying that?
ECU may have beaten us but we still own a 7-1 record against them since they joined C-USA. I hope we see them in the C-USA tournament. Hopefully the Niners will remember what happened in Greenville and run through the Pirates like sh*t through a goose.
I looked at a newspaper this morning with the caption “ECU UPSETS CHARLOTTE 49ERS”. That says it all. We are the superior program & the inferior EZU Pirates pulled off the upset. I guess Humbler feels the same way the Clemson fans felt after they finally beat the tarholes in basketball.
I had to set next to some ECU fans at a baseball game last year when they came to Charlotte. I can assure you they are far from classy.
i think the fact that the fans rushed the court would tell you that even ECU fans knew it was an upset … but it was a great win for us, lucky or not
I can honestly say I feel honored whenever any team rushes the court against us. I seem to recall some App students doing the same thing one year. I know NC State fans were planning on rushing the court against us about 4 years ago if they had beaten us.

Dude, how could you not be sitting next to some ECU fans?? They overtook your stadium! Hell, I think every UNCC fan at that game was sitting next to a Pirate!
Hummell I sorry for our true classless fans. ECU played a pretty good game. I like your center, he has a well rounded game. Something I hope Iti can soon develope and I think he is working hard on it. His FT% is going way up and his hook shot is looking good! Good luck to your team for the rest of the season. Hopefully you guys will take down a few more teams in C-USA and help our RPI! 
Though our fans have a point that we played a bad game, I think we had many chances to change the output of the game, but ECU wouldnt have it and took it home. They won and they desirved to win the way our guys played. Every team knows how to break down and find a teams weakness and I think ECU did what they needed to do to get the win. The only thing Niner fans need to worry about is Cincy coming up. A win there will erase every loss we have had so far and put us back on the road to being ranked!

There is no doubt in my mind that your 49’ers (and I stress your 49’ers) will be just fine. I hate the fact that ECU and 49’er fans got along before this game. I feel like a lot of the pain associated with almost cracking the Top 25 then losing is being taken out on ECU for ripping it away from you. I’m sorry that happened. Obviously UNCC has some great talent and will do very will in the NCAA Tournament…AGAIN. It’s a shame to know that UNCC will be leaving C-USA for the A-10. UNCC is always a school I talk about when describing the many strengths of C-USA basketball.
