Everyone is talking about the “no call” incident in the second half but what about the tirade Lutz was in after the Halftime buzzer?
Right after Plav hit the 3ptr and the teams were going into the locker room, Cal was chasing/yelling at the refs and Bobby came flying back into the picture and went nuts as well.
Any clue what that was all about?
They asked him about it in the postgame, he said he wanted “equal time” with the refs. Don’t think it was anything major, just was making sure Calipari wasn’t the only one in their ear…

Gary also said that a couple of times on MSP this morning.
So did Calipari bring that state trooper from Memphis or was it a NC officer? I remember last year, Pitino had about 3 of guys escorting him around the court.

Pitino (and Denny Crum before him) brought Kentucky troopers with them.
The guys on TV were saying that Calapari was questioning how Plavich could pass the ball inbounds, get it back, dribble and shoot, all in 1.9 seconds (I think that’s what was left on the clock). And of course, Lutz was not going in to the locker room until Cal did.
Right before the 2nd half started, they showed the last play in slow motion and Plav definetly got the shot off in time.

I assume Cal missed the Indiana game? I had no doubts about that shot even when i saw it happening.
From where I was sitting, I believe that Coach Lutz was making sure that the refs knew just where he stood on allowing Calamari to basically run all over the court when he wanted to. The refs last night had no :mellow: :mellow:
In a few different threads, I have seen the number .07 seconds listed as the time plavich had in the indiana game. He had 0.7 seconds. so 1.9 seconds is 2.714 times as long as 0.7 which is about equal to the constant e
