The REAL Deal

I probably shouldnā€™t do this, but I miss the insight and thought-provoking prose once provided by a certain bleeding-green 49er.

HERE, HERE!

I saw him at the tip-off. He was going a mile a minute.

I'm saw him there too.

Real is not here for reasons I canā€™t get into on this forum, but it has nothing to do with the forum itself or any of its members. Itā€™s a political situation. Some of you may know. I think itā€™s sad and unfortunate.

I look forward to the day that gets worked out and he comes back. He belongs here.

I love him and I enjoy his posts a great deal.

I hope he returns.

I can think of several good things that have happened for Charlotte as a result of his posting here, and nothing badā€¦ and of course, his posts were of the highest quality, as would be expected.

wait a minute? where is all this praise for REAL comming from? i was always the one defending him back during the CUSA-talk and TBR days, and everyone else was whining about how arrogant they thought he was or complaining that he would give us part of a story and not the whole thing. dont get me wrong, im glad to finally see some nice things written about him, but it just surprises me that some of the same people who seemed like they hated him are now wishing he was back. i too wish he was back, he is a good man and is the reason i got to go to a lot of Niner games when I was like 10 and 11 years old, thus getting me to become a Niner fan at a young age

Originally posted by LeftyNiner@Oct 28 2004, 09:54 PM Damn, we call for REAL and Bleedn makes his return. At least we got one guy back. :D
He's was in reclusion until his Dolphins beat the Rams. The paper bag is apparently off his head now. Glad they did because it gives my Bills a better chance of getting that first round draft pick. :P

I also would like to see Real back posting on this board as he (and a few others) gives us fans out of the Charlotte area a better feel for what is really happening.

I do dissagree that the ones that ā€œseemed like they hated him are now wishing him backā€. I do not recall any of the above posters having any bad words for Real. There are others that showed their dislike of him in their posts and most of those only come on this board to bitch about something.

yeah, im sorry. i later realized that was an inacurate statement, so sorry guys. i just know REAL caught a LOT of shit that he didnt deserve, honestly i dont remember specifically who it was, but i know it was more than just a few posters. come on back, REAL!

Maybe REAL should return under an assumed identity, similar to Dusty Roads in the mid 80ā€™s getting banned from the NWA and returning in ā€œdisguiseā€ as the Midnight Rider.(Dusty in a loan ranger mask). B)

TRIVIA: What was the name of the woman who was with him when he work the black singlet with yellow polka dots?

Does his son still wrestle? Wasn't he painted up in gold for a while? Yeeeelch how gay. Did Dusty ever find out what that growth on his fat roll was? LOL

I just couldnā€™t help itā€¦ hereā€™s a nugget about Dusty commenting on his persona being immortalized into a video game in December 2003:

ā€œWhen the legend becomes reality, make the legend into a game,ā€ said Rhodes. ā€œā€˜The American Dreamā€™ returns to the ring like no other, baby! Thereā€™s only one ā€˜American Dream,ā€™ one bull of the woods and thatā€™s me, Dusty Rhodes. Iā€™ve held championships all over the world and itā€™s an honor to be part of this roster and to work with Acclaim. Make no mistake about it daddy, this April my ā€˜bionic elbowā€™ will be dropped on all comers and we gettinā€™ funky like a monkey.ā€

LOLOLOL

Yes Norman,Dustyā€™s son Dustin was the gender bending ā€œGold dustā€ for some time.Very creepy and highly disturbing.I would suggest that REAL not return as this persona. The trivia question listed above is a damn good one.Well beyond our 80ā€™s wrestling knowledge. You and I both know a very loyal 49er who could get this off the top of his head. Will you do the honors?
