USC does have a tradition what are you talking about?? They have back to back NIT titles! They own the NIT!
Would be fun to hear QCB suddenly become a āLutz Lunaticā if Bobby went to Columbia.
Thats more what I was thinkingā¦
The reason they think so low of our program is because they have SEC football programs. Hate to break it to them⦠but the whole āyou dont have footballā thing really doesnt hurt my feelings anymore⦠I think Iām numb to it, and if anything they just look stupid.
clt would trade all of our bball tradition and future for sec football.
Why wouldnāt USC go after Calipari?
Why wouldn't USC go after Calipari?
Seriously? It was pretty embarrassing for NC State when they went after him. I certainly had a few chuckles at the expence of UNC-R on that one. Why would USC-Columbia have more success there?

Cal was pretty close to going to state but the academic standards were too high, I know S. Carolina is a decent school but I donāt know if the standards are as high as Stateās.
Heās doing just what he wants to do at Memphis, and getting paid pretty well as is though.

Cal wonāt leave Memphis anytime soon and not for USC. The incredibly arrogant fans worship the ground he walks on, heās getting paid tons of money and he gets to pad his record with 20+ wins each year against in-conference cupcakes while yet somehow earning favorable tourney bids/rankings.
No way would he go to the SEC where heād have to actually play a tough conference schedule for the first time in several years at a football school where heād always be on a pedestal below Spurrier (or any football coach there). Cal thinks way too much of himself to work in that environment.
I just visited GoGamecocks.com where they have posted articles by columnist Ron Morris of the Columbia State, the guy that
called us a"commuter school." Guess where the knothead went to schoolā¦UNC Charlotte. I could not believe it. I plan
to write him and let him know he might want to show his alma mater a little more respect.
Classic. What a putz.

OMG! Nice find. I plan to send him something too. These are the guys who really hurt the school. I just donāt get it. What a loser.
Holy crap!! This is unbelievable!! Hahaa!!
Not bad, $320,000 as a farewell gift from the Chickens.

His reply to me:
His reply to me: Iām a moron
my reply: Yes, you are.
Iāve read that NC State, Maryland, UCLA, and others have a higher percentage of commuters than we do. Schools in larger metro areas are going to have more commuters because of the availablity of housing.
Iāve wrote to him as well. Iāve tried to be nice because I figured somebody in his position would be good to have actually care about the Niners. Interestingly he mentioned his son is choosing between Florida and Charlotte on where to attend school.
I was a freshman in 2000, and it was not a commuter school then in my opinion.

What about the āspecialā school in Manhattan, KS. Thatās where he should move the family so he can be close to his buddy dalonte. What a tool.
Yea he replied to me too. First thing he said was that he had already gotten several emails saying the same thing. That made me smile.
He said he āgraduated from UNC Charlotte in 1977 (Final Four!!!)ā. Said the thing about being on campus in the Spring and it looking like a commuter school. I donāt know what he could have seen that made him think that so I replied and asked him. Apparently my email is going to be used in the āLet It Ripā letters to the editor on Sunday.
