Great article, Jim.
Well, you did the article and took the quote so Iāll take your word for it. But it sure doesnāt read that way to a long-time supporter of this program.
Exactly
Metro, you got that right. Is he taking shots at the fan base again? Geez.
I canāt blame him. The āfanā base is way too critical. Listening to criticism here and on radio of the NINERS and Panthers when they WIN takes the fun out of the W. So, simply, give me a W and I move on. If folks want to piss and moan even when we win, fine, Iām just saying, it takes away from the winnerās high I get.

I do hate the whining after a win but any base is gonna be nasty when your 1-6ā¦its called being fan-atical

What fan base is not exceptionally critical these days? That is not breaking news.
What is news worthy is criticism of the Niners ON THE RADIO. You make it sound like there is something besides the menās games or Lutz Live, where the Niners are even mentioned on the radio.
Please elaborate.
I can't blame him. The "fan" base is way too critical. Listening to criticism here and on radio of the NINERS and Panthers when they WIN takes the fun out of the W. So, simply, give me a W and I move on. If folks want to piss and moan even when we win, fine, I'm just saying, it takes away from the winner's high I get.
Too bad if people are critical. These guys are paid a lot of money to win.
This isnāt childrenās soccer, lets all have fun and run around, who cares about the outcome. People want to see a winner and when they donāt, they have every right to complain.
I have been pleading this forever. Its OK to be simple. You have? Are you sure that wasn't someone else?:lmao:
More pressā¦

You need to come to some of my sonās soccer matches!
Ahh you guys .... He meant giving a littany of excuses of why you don't win. It was a criticism of what coaches like himself do many times. That's the way I took it. I just wish he would stop trying to convince everybody our schedule has been tough. We should have won more games plain and simple.

Our schedule is decent, but no way we should be using it as a crutch. We, as a program, with the schedule we played, should be no worse than 6-3.

Exactly. Sometimes a coach has to modify the system to accomodate the current players skill level. You canāt plug a square into a round hole, etcā¦
A sexy pick for A-10 dark horse, the 49ers never panned out and sit in the same boat as UMass. Charlotte's 3-6 and in need of a major turnaround.
