Okay, I can understand over the past several years we really haven’t had a lot of big men to take the ball inside, but we do now.
Nance is a man-child. Withers is one of the best in C-USA. Iti is … tall and not very agressive on the boards (needs more effort). Then we have EJ and Eddie, who can do anything.
With that said, when in the heck are we going to really start pushing the ball inside. The start of the ECU game was terrible, but passing back out to clank it off the rim is getting old. When we are making the 3’s it’s great, but we are so big we should focus on getting inside. That will more than open up the 3. Don’t get me wrong, I love the three’s, but playing inside first should be the priority. C-USA is going to be tough if we aren’t tough inside the paint.
We should be focusing plays on the inside to get the outside rolling, not the other way around. I may be blind, but even the big guys seem to want to stand on the edge of the 3 point line.
Agreed but you’re preaching to the choir here. My only concern is that if we do go inside, we need to find someone who can feed the inside and Withers, Iti, and Nance have to catch the ball and hang on to it.

Good points. We are in trouble when our center is our best entry passer. And I can't help but thinking about that great pass Mitch or Lee fed Nance last night which should have been an easy dunk, but went right through his hands. Leemire definitely seems like he has the passing skills to make entry passes, but we never ask him to in the offense. It always seems to be pretty much anybody but our PGs who look to pass the ball down low(because that's how it's set up).
We took 18 3 pointers and 46 two pointers. That is a pretty good ratio. And I only counted 4 threes that I thought were bad shots. And Curtis has got to quit the TO’s, 4 is way too many for him.

Curt doesn't appear to have the hands or it may be a concentration issue. He worked hard on the defensive end which was good to see.
I would like to see better spacing which should open up the middle. Also, I’d like to see better ball movement. Penetrate, pump fake, isolate guys.
Plavich and Goldwire better start hitting shots or we won’d beat UC, UL, and Marquette. Bennett sure would have been a nice option to Plavich when Plavich’s shot isn’t falling.
