It’s creepy. I haven’t seen this much baby blue since 1982. That’s OK… they can dump all their money on our fair city.

has downtown crawling with heel fans
Grab your pellet guns, boys.
My kingdom for a Red Ryder.
From a very real friend of the 49ers…
The Miner statue at the corner of Trade & Tryon is wearing a Carolina jersey. There is no mercy!
Also, let the 49er faithful know that Leemire Threewire Goldwire tied a Cabel Car Classic single game record with six threes. The 49ers also own the single game record of 13 set in '93 when they won the event. We, along with Alabama and BYU are the only schools to appear more times (4) than host-Santa Clara and former host-San Fran (11 times).
Peace and Happy New Year!
Norman—I bet you still have a few pellet guns don’t you? Oh, wait, those were the big boys you use to pull out back in day in CV II!!! My ears are still ringing from some of yours (and others) fun ways to spice up the hood.
Nah, got rid of the only BB gun I had after I accidentally shot out a lamp in the Pit, nearly killing Phil Capling in the process. But yes, in general we had to protect ourselves back then what with all the shootings and muggings going on in Colville 2 in the early 90s. I don’t have that S&W .357 anymore… graduated to a .44 DE since then. Fo shizzle.
How many of you guys going to the game? Its a shame we can’t have a West VA-VA matchup every year, with a band contest at half time.

When I was parking for work I noticed this. One thing I will add though....I guarantee the maojority of the folks I saw did not attend Chapel Hill.......too many double earrings, do-rags, and Doral cigarettes if you know what I mean.
Too, The O is dripping cry-baby blue today as well: a special sports (read: tarhole)section. Blah!! :butt:
Somebody needs to take that jersey off of the statue somehow, or at least deface it by throwing a greasy pork sandwich at it. In addition to the holes walking around, they’ve got carnies running all kinds of games. They smell like cabbage.
clt called a guy today and tried to set up an appointment. the guy said this afternoon is no good b/c he is going to the “big game”. clt laughed and said what game?
The football game. Its a game (some) colleges play with an oblong ball.

I’m going out to take some pics of the sea of blue. I’ll get some shots of Buffy and Ned drinking their white zinfandel.
Everywhere I turned downtown I saw Light blue dress shirts, khaki pants, Ray-ban’s with the neck string, boat shoes and Sam Adams LIGHT. I think i’m going to vomit.
Yeah I threw up in my mouth on my walk in this morning…this freakin bowl game can’t end soon enough. At least it brings some added scenery along with it.
