He falls on drives that he scores 3 times in that video. Looks familiar :o (in a good way)

thats great to hear. id love to have a walkon who can contribute decent minutes.
Is this suggesting he couldn't get a scholarship someplace else?
Chi, why would he walk on if he is getting looks from other schools that would give him a scholly? Not questioning your info just wondering if there is more to this.

Because all of the schools offering scholarships are D2. It sounds like he would rather walk-on at a major D1 school than get a scholly to a D2 school.
Watched that youtube video, I’d say he shoots better than half our team right now. I’d like to start getting players that might not be the most athletic but know how to put the ball in the basket, we’ve seen the other way doesn’t work out.
glad we’ve got him, and that he can afford to walk on, opening the door up for Sirin.
just to clear things up, are we gonna think of Trevin as a project?
Wow, another good-looking walk-on.
Great news. His highlight reels were encouraging.
On a side note - so thats where Chris Hobbs is now. Interesting.
Welcome to the Niner family Mr. Parks!
Now that’s the type of walk on we need, awesome.
Hope he’s the kind of guy that can earn a scholarship in the future. He looked small in his highlight video, but talented. He’s definitely got some speed.
He looks very confident in the video. That should help him a lot as he makes the transition to the college game.
Suddenly our PG fears seem totally resolved. I’ll absolutely be rooting for him to earn himself a schollie.

I hope he can earn a scholarship from us by next year. Not just for him, but because if he does that means he's probably pretty good :o
I have watched him play for last few years at Hickory High School and in post season tournaments and was very impressed by him. He reminds me very much of Harris at the point. He is extremely fast bringing ball down court, can shoot the three when needed, and is a very good defender. Worthy of a scholarship so we are getting a STEAL in this player as a walkon!
He put up 31 or 32 points in the 2nd round of the playoffs this year on 12-17 shooting. He was 5-8 from three point range. Lutz was on hand for that one.
Does anyone know if we were considering giving him a scholarship at one point or were we trying to get him to walk on all along?
All of the sudden we’re pretty healthy at the point
Awesome land.

I saw him play in the State 3-A quarterfinals in 2008, and the kid can score. He has the pull up jumper down pat, and can get to the rim very well for a kid his size. I’m interested to see how he does against D1 competition, but I’m excited for him and the program. I think he can earn his scholly in year 2.
