Smart, hardworking, maximum effort local kid with a great pedigree…

Have we been out to Charlotte Christian to see him play?

His dad could ball. This kid had a5.0 GPA and likes to play defense too. Probably worth a look.

We shouldn’t pass on the son of a Charlotte Hornet again. Already did that twice…

To this point we aren’t looking at 2015 Guards from what I’ve seen.

Really? We passed on them, or was it vice versa?

If not, I wonder why?

If not, I wonder why?[/quote]Bobby didn’t think Steph was a quality player (along with most other coaches at our level or higher). Not recruiting Steph I’d imagine burned a bridge with the Curry’s, but it’s not like Seth was recruited at a high level out of HS either.

Neither one of the Currys were recruited highly. That’s why they went to Davidson and Liberty. We missed on both, but so did all of the BCS schools. Nobody saw Steven as the player he is today. McKillop didn’t even see that coming, and I doubt his own dad had envisioned it back then.

This.

I believe VT offered both of them preferred walk on status as a legacy recruit due to Dell.

Both Dell and Steph said that Seth was the best of the 3 at the same age.
