We just finished up season 2 last week. Actually liked season 2 more than season 1. Great show.
clt says multiview is great for news.
If anyone is interested in a light hearted, entertaining show, I recommend “Almost Paradise” on Amazon Prime. There are now two seasons. It’s about a former DEA agent that is forced into retirement and moves to an island in the Philippines. Of course, he gets sucked into helping the local police force solve weekly crime scenarios. By the way, one of the main characters is Samantha Richelle which is reason enough, imo, to watch the show.
lol, i just discovered Black Mirror. That season 1 episode 1 was something else. Wasn’t sure I’d keep watching after that craziness. Anyway, I have kept on watching and am currently in season 2. The episodes can be downright depressing but they all have an interesting way of shining a light on everyday things most people experience. It’s definitely a different type of show, has that British style, and isn’t for everyone, but, I’m enjoying it so far.
A couple of those episodes shook my faith in humanity and made me terrified of the future. We are steamrolling right towards a lot of it.
It is an amazing show that kept the quality up the entire time.
I have not watched season 6 yet but it’s on the list.
Prepare yourself for Season 4 episode named Crocodile. It gets dark. Real dark.
I agreed to watch Lioness with my wife. Thought it would be your basic cheesy “girl power” fare but have enjoyed it so far. 7 / 10 rating.
Second this.
Watching with my spouse and enjoying it so far.
It moves fast. They could slow it down a bit but it’s good like the other Taylor Sheridan series I have seen.
Also watching The Bear season 2. On episode 9.
Second season as good as the first.
Highly recommended.
For those that are watching The Bear.
Does it seem to have some DNA in it from Atlanta? I get a similar feel from it with how it uses non linear storytelling, episodes that focus completely on side characters, etc.
We had to give up on Crowded Room on Apple. It was well cast and well made but just was taking far to long to progress. They could have cut it down by several episodes.
We did the same. After a handful of episodes we just stopped. Nothing was drawing us back to it.
Watching a very good series on Max right now. You should all know what it is, and you should all watch it again within the next two weeks. Go
Niners!
Four episodes in Full Circle on Max is really good. If you like crime dramas that are a bit off the norm, this is for you.
Also finished Deadloch on Amazon Prime.
Really good dark comedy/murder mystery set in Tasmania.
Two thumbs up.
Finished up Ballers on Netflix last week. It was entertaining.
Currently watching “The Night Agent” on Netflix. It only has one season so far, but I think there’s a sesson two approved. I’m enjoying it.
I liked Night Agent. Glad to hear there will be a 2nd season.
