I did some updates this evening and included in that some custom work to make the Twitter/X posts behave a bit better. Here’s the summary:
You head to a thread and you land at your first unread post only to have the page start scrolling downward as the tweet embeds fill in above. Implemented a static place holder for each tweet. It will not load the tweet until it starts to enter the viewable area of the browser.
Seems to be working well, but please let me know here if you encounter any weirdness.
I’m planning on some more improvements between now and kickoff…

Thank you. That was incredibly annoying. I never complained though because I knew it was caused by twitter and not something you had any/much control over. Appreciate the creativity in managing it.

Another code fix to this was just made. Noticed that if you liked a post with a twitter post in it, it would remove the twitter embed and reapply it. This was then causing a forum error under the covers.
