Good. An update has been long overdue.

I swear, it’s like the internet is going through some kind of 60s-70s style architecture phase right now.

I read the colleges will be using this design too. Good stuff.

I don’t think it’s been changed much since I was a Sophomore.

it was designed to create more unity amongst the university and colleges. One of the main problems with the last layout was that it varied from site to site, requiring you to learn how to navigate every website you went to. We all know this is frustrating. So part of this project was making it so that the other colleges can get buy in. There are also slight variations that the colleges can choose from, still based on the same platform, but that may allow for each of the colleges to have their own “personal touch” or to adjust the site to their specific needs.

My understanding is that these templates should also be available to other UNC Charlotte groups as well. Its good because unity represents the top tier.

Changing the url to www.Charlotte.edu was recommended to the administration by Stamats. Want to guess who shot it down?

Come on. Seriously!

Am I the only one who thinks this homepage sucks?

No I agree, it’s not very innovative. But then again, I checked on some other local websites and its probably on par. Look at wfu.edu or duke.edu and that should make you feel better.

I wish our logo was something to be proud of.
