Unca roll call

clt recommends the chilis near the airport. Try the bud light lime if you are feeling adventurous.

Wife is sick. May have extra tic, section 1 row D. PM me if interested. Will know for sure by tomorrow late PM. May have to give it to you at the unca gate on Sunday before the game.

Is your wife’s illness contagious and is there a chance you have also caught it and may be contagious too?

Doubt it. BTW: Tic has been claimed if she does not go.

Just checked into the hotel in Asheville, feeling under a little under the weather but ready for the NINERS to win tomorrow!

Hootie, where do I go for beers tomorrow?

I’ll be at Bier Garden with Hootie by about 1. They have a ton of beers on tap, especially local ones. Looking forward to seeing a lot of green in Kimmel tomorrow.

You can catch the 1st half of the Panthers game on TV before heading to Kimmel.

Any live stream info ?
Any live stream info ?
asn lists it on their site. Sometimes they update it with the live link and sometimes they dont. I watched the MT UTEP game on there yesterday and it was great. Their production quality is excellent.

Game is on channel 11 locally (WCCB I think)

Did the school send out an e-mail to go yesterday morning by bus? :))

clt just signed up for the trip.

We played very poorly and undisciplined. Watching 3 people talk in the huddle during every timeout is hard to look at repeatedly. It is clear that Ryan Odom is the guy the kids look to as the coach. Time to just hand it to him.

Dorn is gonna be a stud!!!

I guess I’m missing something here… who are the 3 people talking in the huddle, Major, Odom and who? Do you expect less or more…

If Odom is the guy running the team, and so many people are unhappy with our performance, why would we make him the coach?

Wow!

Tremendous question!!
Watched UNCA vs USC tonight. USC won by 14. Was up by 20 at one point but for most of the second half only was up 8-12 before getting some space around the 8 minute mark. Few notes:

 • rowsey for them is a damn good shooter. Only needs minimal breathing room to get his shot off. Pull up, off screens, or fast break and this guy will shoot it. He’s a bit foul prone though and he dribbles at times for far too long. He’s maybe 6 feet tall but crafty going to the hoop. Chase him off the 3 pt line and attack him when he’s on defense and he can be had.

 • they have a few other shooters. 2 other guards have no issue shooting from deep. One, Robertson, hit 5 3’s in the second half. They have one big (abaru?) who can step out and hit the 3. They shot 15-29 from 3.

- they really only have one big #45. He’s probably 6’10", long and lanky. He got a number of put backs and tip ins which could be issues since we suck at blocking out. Decent shot blocker. Not a heavy guy, so Thorne should be able to post him and work him over so long as they don’t double him.

 • there other bigs are shorter and pudgier. Clayton should be fairly comfortable.

Basically, if they’re not hitting 3’s they’re easily beatable. Their defense is very susceptible to drives and drives/kickouts. USC struggled with them initially bc they tried trading jump shots with them. Once they got it through their heads to drive they built a large lead. They also sucked at picking up shooters.
SCOUTING!
