UNCW athletics is a coming off of a huge clusterfu*k. They need to get other things in order before tackling football, IMO.
Okay, this guy is a student writer for the school paper but I like his enthusiasm. I think it may be tougher for them than it has been for us, but I will not be like App or ECU, so if they can make it happen then good luck to them.
I especially liked this from his article: âthe city of Charlotte is brimming with excitementâ. It is a nice thought.
Iâm not saying I think they shouldnât have football. They just need their âhouseâ in order first IMO.
Can 747s land at the Wilmington Airport?
for sure. but not on blowing rock. haha
Yes they can, I remember when I was in 7th Grade President Clinton visited the area and I saw Air Force One while in Wilmington.
I wish them luck, but hell, the beach puts up a lot of competition for football, especially when that is what most of the kids are going to school there for.
Whats wrong with them?

clt says the runway is only 8k ft. Air Force one is not a typical 747, so no they cannot land a 747.
The fact that this guy talks positively about us makes me support them.
Go get a team, UNCW.
I think UNCW could be some major competition to UNC-Tâs recruiting.
UNCW has major APR issues with the Basketball program. If Iâm not mistaken, menâs and womenâs. With that being said, I hope they do get to a point in which they can play football. I could totally see them as a similar program to Coastal Carolina.
Did someone say⌠Coastal Carolina?
