Yes! Take that URI! you can have 3 articles in the Providence Journal, but we kept mention of our game in one place and out of the paper so as not to confuse people! … wait……um…

ChevEE, there was a SMALL mention of the game in the printed edition of the Big O, but I haven’t been able to find it posted online (as of 8:20AM).

It was a mistake…a technical issue.

A great preview by Paul Kenyon of the Providence Journal. Actually goes into depth about BOTH Charlotte and URI. What a novel idea!
Wow, really? Great reporting as usual. Can’t even get it right with only one sentence.

So the Providence paper devotes 3 or 4 nice articles to the game PLAYED IN CHARLOTTE and the Charlotte paper gives us a blog?
The Providence paper has a Big East school in town, another 40 minutes away (UCONN), an ACC school 45 minutes away(BC), and all the professional sports teams in Boston. They still manage to give an A10 school 3 articles for an away game.

Not to mention the fact that URI is located 30 miles south of Providence in Kingston.

You can go 30 miles from Providence without crossing the state line?
I didn’t really URI’s go to player is Coach Baron’s son, Jimmy Baron.
Looks like Baron Sr. uses a rotation of 9-11 players, depending upon how the game is playing out. Baron Jr. and Seawright will get a ton of minutes, so probably won’t see them off the court much unless they are in foul trouble.

Yeah…we may be D2 caliber…but at least we have a nice coach who loves his school!!! What till next year baby!! If we are so D2 caliber how come our starting PG is a walk-on…we might be D2 caliber but it’s only because we have had something like 15 injuries this year???
:tumble:
Go NINERS Upset the RAMS!!:49ers:
And, if their coverage was ever missed. All the editor has to do is one small . . . we “messed up” post on URI board.
