Ok so basically it was misunderstanding⌠haha Iâm not quoting all of that.
if Lewis was going to transfer, he would have done it last year IMO
Speaking of transfers, there is some noise that a transfer may be coming TO Charlotte as well â double digit scorer from the SEC.

A âshade more athleticâ would include people such as me
I hope heâs many shades more athletic.
I would guess, someone from georgia or dc area originally ? but just a guess. Kentucky ?
oh dear God, please let Alonzo Gee come here:drool:
IF it is true UK wouldnât be a bad place to start with Tubby leaving. Honestly, how many of those kids do you think have had some contact (legally or illegally) with other coaches since Tubbyâs left? Hell the towelboy canât put his phone down. Wouldnât be surprised if a few of those guys wanted to jump ship, dependent upon who is brought in. A role player or a 2nd/3rd option at UK could come here and be atleast a vital part to our rotation if not more. As a program we may not be a greener pasture, but for PT and to be a primary option we sure are.
This all speculation, but I could see it as a slight possibility.
Only a guess, but if this were true, I would put my money on Josh Dollard, who grew up in Hemingway, S.C.

hmmmâŚ
âŚstill following the cluesâŚ
The more and more I think about it, I think a freshman will transfer from CharlotteâŚbut his name wonât be Booker.
I believe Gee was a Moxley recruit.
I also believe Gee and Leemire were close. Perhaps Lee asked his old buddy to join the team with next yearâs âstarterâ role opening up.
speculation aboundsâŚ
Gee (or any other transfer) woulnât be eligble to play next year.
Gee (or any other transfer) wouln't be eligble to play next year.
Thatâs right.
Think about it. Lutz did not trust Ianâs defense at all and you saw wacky in-and-out shifts all the time with Jamison. Ianâs also the farthest from home (Oregon, I believe). At the end of the season last year - you could sense a bit of frustration in Ian that was not there early in the year.
Whoâs left if he leaves? Goldwire would move to shooting guard and Carlos would play a lot more minutes at point guard. If Lewis continued to backup Lee, then you would need an emergency backup at point guard.
But that would leave a big gaping hole at shooting guard when Lee leaves. That might induce some people into making phone calls. A transfer would be ideal, since they would not be eligible to play next year except to work out in practice.
âŚinteresting developmentsâŚ
The fact that there is a thread like this shows how much of a mess this program is currently under Lutz.

yeah you arenât right about the freshman other than booker. ian is staying as is charles. so booker is the only one left.
go read ianâs interview on Niner Report. shows he definitely is still 100% bout this program
please let it be Alonzo Gee. He would dominate here
I hoping Gee tooâŚmaybe he realize Charlotte was the place to be.

A 360!!!
No way it would be Gee. He was a force and would probably head to the NBA after next year. I donât think he will take a year off to come to Charlotte. No way. However it would be nice!!!
