I got to see Curry a few times in high school and there are at least 2 factors that I am aware of. 1) Heās simply better now. Trust me when I say Dewhurst was the better prep player. Curry has worked hard and has become a better player than when we would have been recruiting him. 2) Heās grown. In 11th grade you would have said thereās no way this guy can be a Div 1 SG. He was like 5ā10" and 140lbs. Then all of a sudden he grows. At that point itās kind of hard to start recruiting the guy in 12th grade.
id have ian and wilderness on himā¦when he has pressure D on him he tends to become a loose cannon and fire up shots that will hit nothing.
in my opinion curry is a little overrated, hes still good, but i think when u shoot that many times your going to score as much as he does.
