Curry is gonna “light it up” when they play us. He couldn’t hit the side
of a barn tonight, but it’ll be different when he comes to Halton. Who’s gonna
guard him, Ian? I dread
the Davidson game, plain and simple.
He will be lost in the “Wilderness”.
No chance whatsoever Ian ever guards Curry. Wilderness will play him the entire game, I’d imagine.

lee can play some decent d. or we could rotate the guards defensively and put harris on him to try to prevent him getting the ball. or put wilderness on him.

you mean like saying over and over that you don’t do pre-game articles? then giving your blue fairies a half page pre-game today?

You know, if Lee was a little more athletic, I bet he'd be an amazing defender. If he had the same physique that Wilderness had... he'd be NBA material.

Yeah but he would not be playing for us.

For not hitting the barn he still had 24 pts… granted he shot 8-23.

i like the harris on richards matchup. No way he gets off 10assists like did last year.
Im not worried about Curry, lee and “the wilderness” can do a good job on him.
I AM worried about the physical play in the paint. If the bigs of davidson play physical like that against us phil is in trouble.
Anjuan will be on him virtually the entire game, I’d assume, just as he will be blanketing Morrow this week.
Still, Curry will get his points against us, we just have to turn their guys over some.

No offense (no pun intended), as he is a freshman, but he has a lot of work to do… just like any freshman does.Im not worried about Curry, lee and “the wilderness” can do a good job on him.

Dewhurst and Wilderness will be blanketing Curry all night, just like they will be guarding Morrow from GT. Bobby even mentioned putting Coley on Morrow, so Coley could possibly guard him a little as well

excellent!!! BRAVO my friend!
greatest pun ever!
haha love it
The cats missed a boatload of shots they ALWAYS make, especially against us. They should have won. They won’t admit it, but they WERE intimidated and the yips showed as it always does on 3 point attempts and some 2 foot layups & dunks they missed. Sad.
I thought we played GT next.
Before we worry about Curry, let’s play the next 4 or 5 games.
Oh yeah, why should we worry about Curry- he wasn’t even good enough to play at Charlotte.

I seriously think there has to be more to the whole Curry recruitment than Lutz just not being interested, it doesn’t make any sense at all.
Hate to say it, but if the Niners don’t bring their A game we may get waxed. Davidson is kinda like us a couple of years ago.

We don’t have to wait that long for the Wildcats. We get GT, then Wake, then Davidson. Tough stretch, and Davidson may be the toughest game of the three. If there is ever a season where the Niners can make a statement, this is it. The schedule is actually worth a crap this year. We don’t really have a cupcake at all… not even Gardner-Webb (Dec. 22nd) is a penciled-in W. If we can somehow win most of our OOC games (especially against the ACC–thinking future RPI help here), we should be in good shape come conference play.

You know there are actually 5 games before Davidson… The team is in a tourney in the USVI and GT is just the first round. They have three more games after that.
