Probably easier to keep all the students in one group rather than break them up in two different sections.
AD also figured it wouldnât be a big deal for our awesome student body to move over one freaking section for a noon womenâs game.

Also: #keepthreadaliveFOREVER
The 49ers are expecting 6,500 kids from 39 area schools for their fifth annual Education Day game.
The bigger issue here is that our womenâs game will have higher attendance than our menâs game tonight.
Sounds like a good event and a good way to get out into the community.
I think the bigger issue at hand is whether security is in place to keep 2k out of the arena.
The university probably worked with his company to fly him out to Chicago this week to avoid any possible incidents.
Probably the least Mickey Mouse thing our AD has ever done, but they did stay true to their STEALTHATHLETICDEPT ways.
Good move, AD, good move!
âŚand bingo was his name-o.
Thatâs the gripe. Nothing more.
I see a lot of people trying to make this into a muuuuch bigger thing than it really is. Whoâs petty now?
I think 104âers will try to beat up the 104 wannabes. I believe extra security will be needed.
I may even head to campus to witness the angry mob in action. I envision a scene similar to this:
Oh, come on Gill. Really?
You know there are waaaaaay too many slim, fit individuals in that image for either side to be 104.
Youâre right Lew. They are doing this to give the seats in 104 a rest.
Well, when you look at it that way⌠not such a bad idea.
FWIW, Iâm taking control of my weight⌠started working out last week.
I already feel much better throughout a day. Why did I wait this long?
Right. Its clearly us.
Not the ones who started a twitter campaign to keep the AD from allowing poor grade school kids from being able to watch 1 womans basketball game at noon from the best seats in the house, all the while claiming to be the victim of some âslap in the faceâ.
Being upset at the AD over this is laughable. Iâm sure when the AD sat down to organize this event with CMS, the last thing they thought was some âsuperfansâ would find offence to having their free seats moved over 1 section to allow kids to watch a game. If we are blaming the ad for anything, its for underestimating the ability of college kids to piss and moan.

Dude, the issue is over. Stop dragging it on.

They are going to sell a truckload of DipâN Dots today.

You Sir have good taste. I am surprised.
Anyways, I second this motion.
OK I wasnât going to say anything in this thread - but I have to now. Cass the AD should have had enough vision to think this through in a manner that would have avoided all this. Either through working with NinerNation Gold to let them know what was happening in 104 being given away and why or by thinking that 104 is sacred ground for our students section and working around that. It isnât the action that is poor it is their though process and steps they could have taken to negate this whole fiasco. The fact taht we have a thread on this means that communication that should have happened didnât.

Sounds like they did communicate to you that you were going to have to move. You just donât like it. I guess all those entitlement issues arenât confined just to the occupy folks.
Or the student body should just get over it and feel lucky they havenât been moved out of 104 fulltime like they should be.
Obviously the AD did communicate ahead of time, weâre talking about it right now. I donât always side with the AD, but I am here.
Like 6500 kids could consume more Dippinâ Dots than our student section.
