WCCB FB post to my question about b-ball broadcasts: So far, we are airing 5 games: 12/4 v. Davidson, 12/8 v. Appalachian St., 1/4 v. NC A&T, 2/1 v. Florida Internation​al, and 3/2 v. Old Dominion. Happy viewing!

AD gets ripped a lot on here, solid job getting these games on TV. Hopefully more to come with the burgeoning relationship with WCCB.
I take it this means I will no longer get to see those home games on the stream I paid for? My only gripe. As an out-of-towner, I have no other way to view the game without getting on a plane. Good for the program though.
Don’t know why they wouldn’t stream the game, I’m fairly certain that most of the stream users are not in the 704 area code.
clt says you can always watch the game in Boone, since they are in the Charlotte market.
When I see how we are trying to get a relationship going with WCCB now, it reminds me on how we used to be able to watch tons of Niner basketball games on Channel 18 when we were in the Sun Belt Conference. We might have even had a few of them called by Thacker and Packer if some of the old heads remember that broadcasting duo.
Jim Thacker did all of our games on WCCB back in the early 80s, maybe even late 70s.
I wonder how the televised girl’s game was included in that schedule. Did we tell them they had to televise a girl’s game if they wanted us to sign a tv deal with them? Did we swap out another televised men’s game for a girl’s game? Maybe this normal now I don’t know.

Women’s game did not cancel out a men’s game. IMG and AD wanted a women’s game added on and WCCB, being a great partner, wanted to do it as well.

Never hurts to ask and if they say no, you still have 5 men’s games on television.
