Will be surprised if the new coach at UNC doesn’t retain Sean May.

Yeah, last week someone in the know over on the discord site said UNC wanted to keep May around to watch over the program until a new coach was hired and possibly stay depending on who they hired. With Malone having very little college experience or connections I would expect them to keep May for some continuity and to help Malone figure out what he’s doing.
it will be interesting to see what Sean May does. I hope he decides to come to Charlotte
I know he’s close with Wes but I would imagine the difference is salary, bonus, and perks is significant.
And staying on the bench at his Alma mater with the chance, in the back of his mind, to get the head job one day.

clt says we are in bed with CHeat now, just get used to being treated like a AAA program.
maybe they we have players come play here after injuries to get some bats

Sadly, probably AA for a few of those years.
Even farther back than that. Torin Dorn Jr. transferred to NC State and Keyshawn Woods to Wake after 2014-15 season.

Further back than that. Vincent Grier to Minnesota in 2004.
Yes, he did eventually end up there after a JUCO year in between.
I believe Grier wanted to stay but there were some personal issues and needed to get out of town.

Calvin Clemmons jaw was a problem for dear Vincent.

There was a guy named Eddie Basden that was kind of in the way of playing time. He also wanted more playing time at PG.
