What a bunch of criminals. Thatâs disgusting.
If you donât know what Iâm talking about, you will. Pacers game.

disgusting on both sides, players and fans.
As if I needed another reason to detest the NBA.
I dislike Artest, but that was almost justified. I hope that fan serves time. What an ass. Same with the ones who came on court to challenge the players.
NA, I agree with you⌠The fans were out of control.
Irony of Ironies: Rasheed Wallace - Peacemaker?!?
Both sides to blame for this one. The fan shouldnât have thown the drink on Artest but Artest shouldnât have gone into the stands either. OâNeal flat out knocked the crap out of that one fan.

Congradulations to David Stern and the NBA, you finally made me watch 5 minutes of an NBA game. We can only hope that the league follows the NHL into the grave.

True. That's why I said almost. You still can't do it, but the fans certainly tested that theory last night. I really don't like Artest either. I think he's a punk.
In retrospect, Artest should have grabbed a cop or secuirty guard instead, and had that joker tossed out or arrested.
That was the GREATEST moment Ive ever seen in a NBA basketball game!!!
I hope this continues to happen more and more in games around the league. I wanna see the players go to jail (self defense my a$$ - all he had a cup of ice), I wanna see David Stern get sued, I wanna see companys afraid to endorse anyone not even the mop boys, and have this lead to the ultimate distruction of the league.
Id love to have been there. Wow that was exciting! How often do you get the chance to slug a multi-millionaire?
Fans need to get under control - it is only a game. But it should be the players who make millions that have the cooler head. Let the security take care of off court issues. A player should never ever leave the court and go into the stands. I hope that each player that left the court is given at minimum a 20 game suspension.
NA did you see what Artest was doing to Ben Wallace. One of the nicest guys in the game, a guy whos playing despite the murder of his close Uncle? Then to taunt Wallace on top of it when heâs already furious. If I was a fan it wouldâve been batteries coming after Artest. Heâs a clown and doesnât deserve to be in the league. What a disgrace.

personal income has zilch to do with any of this and is a non-factor. these guys have in large part bad backgrounds, no real father figure and on and on. thinking money is the answer to all problems is foolish. these problems listed and the side effects on society is the biggest crime the welfare state and âgreat societyâ has left us with and is why the âfamilyâ must be restored.

If this had been on the playground I probably would understand the behaviour a little more. You defend yourself when you have to but in this case there was security (as lame as it may have been). Artest could have walked away and the situation would have been taken care of.
exactly WHAT does income have to do with taking the high road??? that is pure stupidity, and yes no one knows what each of these guys have been through, I know Ben Wallace had an uncle murdered. a vast majority of nba players come from inner cities and/or poor backgrounds, its well documented. hello common sense? there is this thing called âcharacterâ that money does not buy, its taught generally by father figures and a âgood communityââŚalso, these guys could grow up wealthy for that matter and not recieve these wisdoms. holding people of higher incomes to higher standards is ridiculous, holding your employees, all of them, to high standards is perfectly fine though.
hell, what about the biggest THUG of all in the world, Bin Laden. he has millions of dollars and look at how he chooses to live his life!
