JFelt, given the circumstances... it would be appropriate to take one for the team from Will.
Then I nominate you to stand next to him.

Well done sir! Captian Obvious fully endorses this thread.
He will either say yes or no to football. Wow, I canāt help but feel that my powers of stating the obvious have really rubbed off on some members of this board.
He will either give a yes or a no⦠truly a beautiful post. Well done Mr Shaggy!

Well done sir! Captian Obvious fully endorses this thread. However, since thatās not all Shaggy said, lookās like Captain Obvious is actually Captain Dumb****.He will either say yes or no to football. Sh*t in my pants.
I seriously might.
He could say yes or no- but the trustees have to agree, either way
Sh*t in my pants.I think HP has some pills that will help prevent you from doing that. Contact him and save yourself a cleaning bill.

The chancellorās decision really is nothing but a recommendation ā the trustees can agree or disagree with him.
I would definitely have to trot out the Green Man suitā¦
The chancellor's decision really is nothing but a recommendation -- the trustees can agree or disagree with him.So if the chancellor is making his recommendation on the 18th, when does the BOT make their decision?
Maybe Iāll celebrate at the titty bar. LOL.
Not that I would ever go to such an unsavory place.

dont be so sure.
from what i understand, here is how it boils down:
there are 12 voting members on the BOT
3 are firmly against football, always have been, and regardless of what the chancellor says, they are going to say no.
1 is an absolute yes. (Tim Ernst, Student Body Prez)
it appears outwardly as though 3 other members are YES YES YES, regardless of what the chancellor says.
that leaves us with 5. those 5, most likely are going to vote with whatever the chancellor recommends. sure they can agree or disagree, but likely theyāll put their trust in his recommendation. honestly, it is highly probable that his recommendation will be the outcome.

So, I guess the question is who are the 3 firmly against football and where should I send their fruit baskets and letter from me begging for football before the vote?
If Dubois says yes and we get football, I will celebrate for the entire weekend. Then, I will start trying to prepare for the vote on the name change in November. I think we need to switch gears real quick and start getting ready to inform the general student population about this vote.
