I read this board daily, but never post. Now I have to ask … if he says yes, will this be cause to drop the constant “Chapel Hill Phil” and “CHP” references? It seems that he has just enough rope to hang himself now, but everyone here seems to have jumped on him before he can even say yes or no. I mean, it would be really hard to hate the guy who brought football to Charlotte! It just seems that he’s already hated and he hasn’t said no … yet.

(BTW - not trying to defend the guy, just trying to gain some perspective and see if this decision would change things for people on this board)

Lastly, thanks to everyone for organizing the rally … see you there.

Most of us don’t hate him because of football. He’s done the most for it since dearly beloved Bonnie. We dislike him due to his style, his secrecy, and his lack of respect for student and alumni opinions.
