What sucks is weāll now have to live through another round of being worse than ECU (In every sport) and have to put up with the inevitable hater and troll posts of fire Mike Hill, fire (fill in the blank) the next HC, hire back Bobby, the unending posts about not supporting the program, but somehow expecting Niner athletics to compete at the upper levels of their respective sports, with lower level fan support.
We will get some bump in revenue with the AAC move, but way less than the established AAC members, and I believe that is the case until the current TV rights deal expires. So good luck to all our teams trying to be competitive in our new conference for the next several years. Especially if other schools are just going to outbid us for tallent.
If this is true then he was never a āgreat manā or leader of young men or anything like that. Frankly it would match up with his actions and words which was never being accountable and throwing anyone under the bus possible to avoid being responsible for his own failures. Good fucking riddance.
I think itās the height of hubris to think RS did this to middle finger fansā¦but Iām wondering if, due to the timing, itās a personal thing between RS and MHā¦there was a fundamental disagreement that couldnāt be bridged. The timing seems a personal one by RS.
