When are we going to get a coach?

UTEP hired Tim frikkin’ Floyd. Houston hired some other loser. I don’t want us to hire a loser but some news would be nice.

Who is on our short list?

Kelsey, Dooley and Hopkins

Sorry, I didn’t see the other threads. Just a little frustrated hearing about these other hires and we don’t have interviews going on.

we have interviews at the final four! no one knew that but me. this is breaking news. you are one of the first to know.

LOL this thread has unbelievable potential…

:))

Who are we interviewing at the final four? do you think the possibility of a 96 team NCAA tournament field will help our chances to get a good coach because we won’t get shafted like we did this year?

I may get in trouble from my sources for this, but…

Pat Kelsey and Joe Dooley have been confirmed.

Thanks for the info. I don’t know a lot about those guys other than their teams aren’t playing anymore so they should have time for an interview.

Is it better to give the gig to an assistant or to a guy with head coaching experience? i just worry if we hire the assistant he’ll use us as a stepping stone job and then we’ll be back in the search again.

what about the bc coach that just got fired? he might be a good candidate.

If he leaves after 3 or 4 years, it’s because we made one or two deep runs in the tourney. After not having advanced to the second round in like 12 years or something, I’m sure we would all take that. Then you move on to the next hot up and coming coach.

That coach wanted to leave the ACC and return to the Big East because he said it was too difficult to recruit in the ACC.

HEY! It’s only been 9 years!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

This is a very important thread. I’m glad someone finally had the guts to discuss our coaching vacancy.

BREAKING NEWS: Just named Scotty Olson head coach.

BREAKING NEWS: Scotty Olson has been fired. Thank God!

My sources have told me that Malik El Tamer will be the next head basketball coach at Charlotte. This is the resume he turned in.

His assistant, AND THE ONLY ASSISTANT NEEDED, is Chuck Norris. He WILL get the best recruits. Anybody question this? I wouldn’t.

We got the shaft?

We have a coaching vacancy?

When did this happen? Where did Lutz go?

Guess I missed this because I’ve been preoccupied waiting for Phil to make his decision on whether or not the school will pursue football.

We’re pursuing football? WTF? We’re gonna lose all those millions Bonnie Cone donated because she stipulated we can never have football. I think her son or grandson got paralyzed playing football.

Post of the year!!!

I’m just glad Lipsitz is still our women’s soccer coach.
