Which new Niner are you most excited about

Deangelo is the most hyped. Marcus has sat out for eight straight years it seems like. Jerrell has sick handles and is an assist machine. Jamison is a lockdown defensive specialist. Coleman is the size of a small FedEx truck. Mullis is a tough and agressive banger. Decisions, decisions…

I am going to go with Marcus Bennett, because I was expecting to get to see him play my freshman year, and it will be my JUNIOR year by the time he finally sets foot on the court with a Niner uniform on. I feel bad for the guy. He has tons of heart and is a hell of a player. I cant wait to see him dominate the competition.

Jerrell Lewis was a very close second. Not many people on this board realize how good Jerrell is. He is unlike any point guard we have had at Charlotte in years. He isnt much of a shooter, but has amazing handles, and is an INCREDIBLE passer. His court vision is excellent, and he can get the ball to anyone at any time.

I voted DA because he better be good or we won’t be losing in the first round of the NCAA.

If we sign Williams and everyone returns, we’ll have 13 “active scholarship” guys. We haven’t had more than 10 in a long time. Lots of depth and athletic ability to go with some nice talent and a bunch of experience.

It will be a much different team than this year. Hmmmm.

If he is not, I’m holding you ultimately responsible for my unrealistic expectations.

If this is true Chisox, then my answer is easy.

It’s been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time since Colson.

.

Isn’t there going to be an Iti 3.0 next season?

one of my friends was telling me that eddie said that jerrell would start next year if it were up to him. that Lewis reminded him a lot of Stephon Marbury.

Also if you put down mullis, you’ll have to wait til next year, especially if we pick up a Juco and iti 3.0 and withers stay.

His shot is from the Dalonte Hill school of PG shooting form.

The one thing to remember is how much Charlotte guys improve on shooting. It’s not just because Rob Moxley is here, it’s because these guys have never had anything like “The Gun” before. It’s a machine that has a huge rebounding net and that automatically passes the ball back to you. NBA teams use them, many Division 1 schools use them. It’s high net forces you to put arc on your jumper. With Benny and Rob helping these guys make slight adjustments, they are able to improve by shooting 100’s of jumpers in 1/2 an hour. Look at the improvement on Guys like Eddie from freshman to senior. If Jerrell wants to learn, he will.

As for me I went for Marcus. He’s someone who loves Basketball. He’s always playing pickup or shooting around. Played horse with a scrub like me once for quite a long period of time. TOTAL CLASS guy. I really want to see him succeed here in his one year.

Powerbait do you have another year left? If so how about a Marcus costume, if not the Alumni section better get ready.

PB is still eligible, but he will soon be relocating to his promise land in Chapel Hill

Ditto. I'm from the Detroit area and I love to see fellow metro Detroiters do well in anything.
