Interesting that we got Carlos Williams, considering we were after Jeremy Goode and Ish Smith pretty hard and we had offered both a while ago. Will be interesting to see how the rest of our recruiting season for the 2006 recruits go.
Here is my wish list based on talent, our need, and guys that we have a good shot at.
- Keith Clark, SF/PF (we are the only offer and we lead)
- Cameron Tatum, SG (offer and we lead with Georgia Tech 2nd)
- Kenyan Harmon, SF (we are the only offer and we lead with Auburn)
- Bernard Toombs, PF (we may offer soon if we haven’t already and we lead)
- Drew Haymaker, PF/C (we are the only offer)
What do you guys think? Who will be next?
I think we land Clark, Toombs and Tatum. That would be an amazing class!

I’m feeling good about Clark. Could be a transfer in the mix for 2005 now that Iti is official. Toombs and Tatum would be impressive. I’m guessing Ish is going ACC and there are question marks about Goode.
The 06 class has scholarships open from:
Withers —> 4 year grad
Baldwin —> 4 year grad
Drayton —> JUCO grad
Nance —> JUCO grad
Iti —> Transfer
Bennett —> 1 year grad
That’s a lot of scholarships to fill. The 06-07 team is going to be quite young and Leemire could very well be the only starter that was signed as a freshman unless things go very well in the recruiting ballpark.
