Harrison, Mangini has already said that with Montario Hardesty going down for the year, Harrison will have an ample opportunity to prove himself, and build off the strong last 3 games he had last year where he carried the ball 30+ times for those 3 straight games (not having 30+ carries before that in game throughout his entire career).
Of course, Jake Delhomme tanked a great rushing attack last year with the INTs.
As a Harrison owner, I definitely don’t want him getting 30+ carries a game. He won’t make it through week 8. A nice 17-20 with a few catches per game would be nice.
More than seven carries would be nice.
Yea, that was disappointing, considering the fact Hillis was the only guy they would probably go to ahead of him. I can understand Mangini trying to save him, not trying to wear him out, but geez, the guy had 3 carries for 40+ yards at halftime. TB was pretty bad against the run last year, and while he got 9 carries, Harrison should be at a minimum 15-20 carries. Doesn’t help though when Delhomme can’t stop throwing passes to the other team.
So I lost my first week… Steve Breaston and Darren McFadden lit it up on my bench while Crabtree, Colston and Gore were disappointing.
So this week, I have 2 RB and a flex RB/WR spots… I’m going to use 3 RBs but with McFadden possibly lighting it up again in week 2 against the Rams, I’m thinking about starting him. who should I play?
* Current Starter
RB *Frank Gore *Jamaal Charles * (Flex) Darren McFadden
Bench: Knowshon Moreno
I hate to bench Moreno though.
WR:
Breaston and Gaffney had a great week 1 (ON MY BENCH! lol) but espn analyst says not to expect the same week 2. But I’m thinking Crabtree needs to be benched until he proves something. With him being the #1 option, I think defenses are gonna be double teaming him.
*Marques Colston *Steve Breaston
Bench Michael Crabtree
Pierre Garcon
Jabar Gaffney
I’d go Moreno over McFadden and Crabtree over Breaston. Also, don’t trust the ESPN analysts.
Vick or Orton?
Harrison, Hightower, or Forsett as RB2?
Orton (Vick could be iffy though, one of those 2 close to calls. Vick could give some good points again) And Hightower.
You would stick with Crabtree? He only had 2 catches for 12 yards. Be different if he previously shown he could put up some points but the 49ers passing game was awful in week 1 against Seattle. I’m thinking the Saints can bring the same heat.
Anyone else have any thought on Crabtree vs. Breaston?

I can’t imagine the 49ers passing game is that bad. I would understand wanting to sit Crabtree after that stinker though.
Play Colston… 49er’s redzone passing D was atrocious vs. the Seahawks… I have a feeling my feelings are going to be hurt Monday night.
Breaston and Crabtree get thrown to by two shitty QBs so it’s a toss up there. I don’t know who your RBs are playing against so I don’t know who you should play.

Ricky Williams vs NYJ
Correll Buckhalter vs Indy (Moreno just ruled out for Sunday)
