Withers article on ninerreport

Don’t know if it’s already been posted but I thought there was a lot of interesting things in it.

This stuck out: “Everyone’s always like “Shoot, shoot,” but I don’t always want to shoot,” Withers said.

Hmm, don’t know how I feel about that one… But he won’t hear it if he’ll do it.

He also commented on how our fans work.

Oops, sorry I’ve been out of town, but I meant to make this one available to everyone. It is now.

Enjoy.

I’m glad the team wants to think of DA as a big two. A lot of us on here have said they’d like to see more of DA inside the arc. I think DA could do a pretty reasonable Damon Bailey impersonation.

Did he liken himself to a farmer?

Postgame question if he appears at Picasso’s: So, how’s the Winter Wheat? Expecting a bumper crop?

Haha, I caught that too. Curtis McDonald had a farm?

as far as im concerned they have “won” only one game, not 5 the other 4 were garbage.

I think he was saying that Curt and DA are the big two offensive players on the team.

I think he meant: foreman

Main Entry: fore·man
Pronunciation: 'fOr-m&n, 'for-
Function: noun
: a first or chief person: as a : a member of a jury who acts as chairman and spokesman b (1) : a chief and often specially trained worker who works with and commonly leads a gang or crew (2) : a person in charge of a group of workers, a particular operation, or a section of a plant

  • fore·man·ship /-"ship/ noun

I’ll still take the four W’s. Feels a little better than 1-7. Now, the 3 L’s were garbage.

I still want DA to play like Damon Bailey, dammit, regardless of what he meant.

Yeah, they’re identical…except Bailey could shoot, couldn’t jump and was white. Otherwise they are separated ar birth.

Damon Bailey? Let’s change the subject to “high school hoop gods who were mediocre in college.”
