Wood Floor Poly: Oil vs Water-based

Looking to do hardwoods at a new house and since the wife is prego I’m looking at having the floor company use water-based poly over the oil. We used oil at our current place and we really like the look but the smell was bad for weeks.

Anyone had their floors done with water-based poly? Any opinions on how they look and how the hold up over time?

Can’t speak for wood, but the urethanes I use for concrete coatings favor solvent based in every category except smell.

Richer colors and more durable than water based, but the smell is horrendous. Ozone machines help a lot. So do big canisters of coffee weirdly enough. Coffee absorbs and neutralizes odors.
