Glad to get the W and to see some improvement. Hopefully after a week off we will continue to improve. Major said that this week we will be back in training camp mode.
Yes the mood is a bit down for a W. However I think it is the nature of the win that is a problem. We still played sloppy basketball, and barely beat a team that (on paper) we should have won by 15. We all know this soft warmup schedule will end soon and the A-10 is strong this year.
Still I had us losing this game just based on the nature of the team we where playing so still happy with the win!
Actually, this was a good win for us, especially considering we could have flopped after the heartbreaker last Tuesday. Nice confidence booster but we desperately need to win the next two before coming back home as I have a really bad feeling about Davidson taking us to the woodshed. If we come in riding a 3 (road) game streak, we may have the confidence needed to pull it out.
I’m already dreading their obnoxious fans so please Lord, do not put me in a position to do the walk of shame out of our own building.

I like your optimism but I’ve seen both teams play and they are significantly more refined than we are right now. We may owe them, but if we play like we have in the last few games, they will smoke us.
After watching them play Duke that is excatly how I felt about playing them. I am praying that I am wrong.
As much as I hate them, that’s exactly how I feel.
