X-Man Holloway declares for NBA Draft

Tu Holloway throws name in, but won’t sign with agent.

Cincinnati.com: XU’s Holloway enters name in NBA draft

Got me to thinking about the past couple of Musketeers who left early for the NBA. Derrick Brown (2009) saw a good bit of action with the Bobcats under Larry Brown, but “disappeared” with Paul Silas before being traded to the Knicks this season. Jordan Crawford (2010) seemed to an afterthought with the Hawks, but really blew up after being sent to the Wizards midseason, with a 27 point game against the Bulls and 39 points versus the Heat in March.

Crawford is going to be a big time player in the NBA in a couple seasons. He’s shown the ability, now he just needs to do it consistently.

Holloway removes name from draft, which prompts Andy Katz to place X-Men at #15 in an early top 25 for 2011-12.
