When you think about, this is incredibly stupid. You work so hard to get good recruits and a good schedule, then have your star player miss the first game for a rules violation that could have easily been averted. Not trying to bash them, but it’s quite a big, silly blunder to make when your team is hailed as having a F4 chance.
So long as they don’t screw up and lose to Morgan State, no one will remember 10 games into the season that he missed that game. It’s only when you lose to G-W and GW that we remember who was suspended. Puts a wet towel on the start of the season, for sure.
