My staff asked, “How will the fans know it’s really you posting on theboards?” I told em that I’ll confirm it on twitter. So if you’re not afollower, no big deal but that’s where skeptics can go. Mack must be nervous about the Spiders for him to jump on a message board in the midst of a 30-game A10 home win streak. I guess he felt the need to try to turn up the wick, but Cintas doesn’t need any pumping up. They haven’t seen a loss in their building since their last home game of 2006. Every game I’ve seen them play on TV this season I was envious of their crowd. It used to be like that in Halton on a semi-regular basis.

While I believe it would be a cool idea, I won’t believe this was really written by the coach until it actually IS confirmed by him through a verified media outlet. It’s too…amateurly written. By the time it’s proven to be false, the job will have already been accomplished by the fan who made it up.

Exactly; unless this Twitter account has been verified by the coach previously, I still doubt its authenticity. My intention is NOT to bust Metro’s balls for bringing us something interesting and relevant, but rather share my jaded outlook on how the internet works. Mike Beasley’s mom might want to have words with me though…
I’m all for Coaches responding to message boards. A sport should do what their fans want… fans want interaction. I want the coach to call out some of us on our posts and argue with us.
I dont care Coach Mack posted that! Coach Lutz calls me time to time personally to let me know that a game is coming up and he hopes I’m there. He talks fast and then hangs up on me. It’s kinda weird. Doesn’t give me a word in edge wise. Coach if you are listening, “Let me speak when you call!”. And Stop Calling at DINNER TIME!
