UGA PG to transfer.
He couldn’t help next season. Strange that he would say he’s leaving before a new coach is named. There certainly is a girl (or two) on that campus for him.
He went to Dunwoody HS. Isn’t that Wilderness’ high school? They graduated the same year as well, I presume. Friends, maybe???..hummmmm???

Yeah, I think they won the championship together. He had some good offers coming out of HS. But his number in college are not good, abysmal shooter. Then again, we do need experienced point guard help for when after Dijuan graduates.

Swansey graduated in 07, Wilderness in 06. One can only assumer that they played together. One can also hope that Lutz is telling Anjuan to try and sway him in our direction.
Normally I don’t like to disparage players in the recruiting forums but I’m not impressed with this guy.
BCS does not equal good.
He played on a team that was arguably worse than us this year (Pomeroy has em like 50 spots below us, but their RPI was 20 spots better than ours) and his numbers were very poor.
Admittedly I haven’t seen him play but I think we’d be better off getting one of or some combo of Richmond, Sanford, or Parks.
Either way if the guy ends up a Niner somehow I’ll cheer him just the same.
I got excited at first but other than steals and assists to turnovers I’m less than impressed (50% free throws…really?):
PPG APG 3% FT% FG% RPG SPG A/T
4.3 2.9 .286 .500 .396 1.9 1.1 1.41
I’d take him, but I want us to get Akeem Richmond.
I agree his #s aren’t great. Just throwing it out there as an option.

Not really that different from Dijuan last season playing 21 mpg.
PPG APG SPG A/T
3.5 3.17 1.08 2.77
Dijuan had a much better A/T, but the rest looks fairly similar.

Dijuan was a VERY mediocre player 2 yrs ago. We were just excited b/c he was a walk on at the beginning. He improved greatly this year b/c of his work ethic and attitude. Who knows what the future holds for Swansey.

I’m not talking about overall stats, I’m talking about shooting percentages. Swansey is almost as bad as Rashad Coleman from 3 and he’s an abysmal 50% FT shooter. Dijuan is also a better FG shooter in general.
It’d be nice to get a PG who can actually shoot decently, but if we can’t I guess we could go after this guy. He sounds like a decent passer from what I hear, and he’s getting steals and that’s always good.
hmmm… Wilderness and him practiced free throws together. thats wonderful.
Sounds like a glorified walk-on. Pass.
