USC is virtual lock to get him, but we should try to get in the mix.

Maybe I just dont know much about recruiting. Why is this kid good? I think I’m taller than him. And GT was pretty crappy this year.

GT has had a good amount of guys leave GT under Hewitt, I don’t get why.

Recruiting is a crap shoot. Fredrick played about 28 minutes a game and started this year as a sophmore(mostly out of necessity), Next year Crittidon shows up and starts immediately, Fredrick goes from starter to playing about 15 minutes a game. He’s leaving because he wants to play, can’t blame him for that. He was a star in High School, hard to let that go.

Word is that we would have been one of his top choices but we recently lost our connection to him. bummer.

I grew up pulling for ga. tech and i still follow the program fairly close. Frederick has been unhappy with his pt while at tech. he played well while in the game, but his playhing time was still minimal for him. tech has an outstanding recruiting class coming in next season and frederick has been made aware that his pt may be reduced due to the quality guards coming to tech.

don’t let my first sentence confuse you to thinking i would pull for tech against charlotte.

I think his minutes would be reduced almost in half, am i correct? Crittendon or whatever his name is will get most of the PG minutes.

FWIW, here’s what game**** fans are saying…

why haven’t we got on the phone with him???

We don’t have a spare scholarship unless he wants to pay his tuition for 06-07.

he is interested if anyone knows connections to lutz and co.

He is heading to The Game****s:

Just as the Truth Revolution predicted…

South carolina is 1 over the scholarship limit, will be interesting to see how that shakes out…

This guy is a “One Trick Pony”…we’re not missing out on much nor do I think Lutz was interested in him.

JW what that one trick you are talking about would be?

He is a “shoot first” kind of a guy who loves to score. He’s not much of a passer or defender and very much in the mold of his father, who played at SC. Zam Sr. was an undersized, shoot first kind of a guy as well, who loved to pad his stats. He led the nation in scoring his senior year (28 pppg), but played on a crappy team at SC (Bill Foster)and never went anywhere after that.
